Tenemos otra experiencia de vida no tan “fácil” como la de Fatuma; la vamos a contar muy por encima, en tercera persona y sin dar nombres por su seguridad… (La vamos a llamar “Amina”).
Amina estaba cursando ya estudios de Secundaria; su padre ya había fallecido, y como es costumbre, los varones de la familia toman las riendas, en su caso eran sus hermanos. Un día decidieron “venderla” y en caso de no aceptar, directamente quedaba expulsada de la casa familiar. Su madre no la podía proteger.
Nuestra joven, ante la amenaza recibida, eligió proseguir con sus estudios, solicitando ser acogida en la vivienda de una hermana y el marido de ésta. Pero la convivencia se truncó por los celos de tener en la propia casa una jovencita… Es muy habitual que las mujeres casadas y con hijos sean abandonadas a su suerte por otras más jóvenes. Amina tuvo que regresar a su pueblo.
Nuestra Amina encontró ayuda externa con las Hnas. Catequistas del Cristo Crucificado, que le han conseguido una habitación y sufragan su sustento y estudios.
Hoy podemos decir que Amina está acogida en una casa y sigue estudiando.
